About Top Gun Baseball
Baseball Scouting Service held it’s first annual “Top Guns” National Showcase at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas in June of 1997. This tradition has continued each year with a very rich heritage of high draft choices and Division 1 college players. We are the only National Showcase that still hits with metal bats during our games. However; we also use wood and metal during our batting practice on combine workout day.
“Top Guns” caters to all of the top baseball universities in the U.S. and will continue to do so. It is our firm belief that most high school players need at least 2 to 3 years of college baseball seasoning to be able to compete really in the minor leagues. We always wish our high draft choices the best, but let’s face it, most high school players would be much better served by getting some college under their belt first.
Our host hotel again in 2002 is the world famous “Hard Rock Hotel and Casino” which is located a “Double Cut” away from Earl E. Wilson Stadium on the UNLV Campus. The hotel registration can be reached by calling their toll free number 800-693-ROCK.
If you let them know you are with “Top Guns,” you will receive a discounted price which can’t be beaten. The “Hard Rock Hotel and Casino” have all of the amenities that you expect from a luxury resort including the best swimming pool in all of Las Vegas.
